حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُنَيْدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «رَأَيْتُهَا وَقَدِ ابْتَدَرَهَا اثْنَا عَشَرَ مَلَكًا وَفُتِحَتْ لَهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ»

  1. Jaʿfar b. Sunayd b. Dāwud al-Miṣṣīṣī from my father
  2. Ḥajjāj b. Muḥammad
  3. Yūnus b. Abū Isḥāq from his father
  4. ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. Wāʾil from his father

✧ I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he heard a man saying: “Allah is greater, greatly; praise be to Allah, abundantly, pure and blessed therein.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I saw them as twelve angels rushed to them, and the gates of heaven were opened for them.”
