حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مِنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا سِنَانُ بْنُ مُظَاهِرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ كَثِيرًا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ «مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْكَلِمَةِ؟» قَالَ مَا أَرَدْتُ إِلَّا الْخَيْرَ قَالَ «لَقَدْ فُتِحَتْ لَهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ فَمَا نَهْنَهَهَا شَيْءٌ دُونَ الْعَرْشِ»

✧ I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and he heard a man saying: “Allah is greater, greatly; and glory be to Allah, with His praise, abundantly.” When he finished, he said: “Who is the one who said those words?” The man said: “I intended only good.” He said: “The gates of heaven were opened for them, and nothing stopped them short of the Throne.”
