حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ سَوْرَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى قَوْمًا قَدْ رَفَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ «قَدْ رَفَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمُسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw a people who had raised their hands during prayer, and he said: “They have raised their hands as if they were the tails of restive horses. Be still during the prayer.”
