حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَزَّازُ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَفْرَغَ مَاءً فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ شَامِيَّةٌ ضَيِّقَةُ الْكُمَّيْنِ فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَيْهِ مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَعَلَى عِمَامَتِهِ وَخُفَّيْهِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ poured water, washed his hands, then washed his face. When he wanted to wash his forearms, he was wearing a narrow-sleeved Syrian jubbah. He brought his hands out from under the jubbah, washed his forearms, then wiped his forelock, wiped his head and over his turban and his leather socks.
