حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الزَّرْقَاءِ ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَمَّادٌ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَ مَعَهُ قَرِينٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ» قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنَّ اللهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ فَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no one but has a companion from the jinn assigned with him." They said, "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Even me, but Allah helped me against him, so he became a Muslim, and he only commands me to good."
