حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَعَمٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَسِيتَ؟ قَالَ «بَلْ أَنْتَ نَسِيتَ بِهَذَا أَمَرَنِي رَبِّي»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, did you forget?" He said, "Rather you forgot. This is what my Lord commanded me."
