حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْفُرَاتُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَوْنٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الثَّقَفِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ يَسْأَلُهُ عَمَّا
سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ» اللهَ ﷻ كَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلَاثًا عُقُوقَ الْأُمَّهَاتِ وَوَأْدَ الْبَنَاتِ وَمَنَعَ وَهَاتِ وَقِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ
Translation

✧ He heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ and then wrote to him, saying: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: God, exalted be He, dislikes for you three things: undutifulness to mothers, burying daughters alive, withholding and demanding, he-said-she-said, excessive questioning, and squandering wealth.
