حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ قَالَ كَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ
أَنِ أَكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ بِخَطِّي إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَنْصَرِفُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

✧ That he should write to him something he had heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So he wrote to him in his own handwriting: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he finished from the prayer: “There is no god but Allah, alone without partner; His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is over all things powerful. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of fortune can benefit from You his fortune.”
