حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْأَشْوَعِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي كَاتَبُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ كَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ
أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ» اللهَ كَرِهَ لَكُمْ ثَلَاثًا قِيلَ وَقَالَ وَكَثْرَةَ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةَ الْمَالِ

✧ [He asked him] to write to him something he had heard from the Prophet ﷺ. He wrote to him: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'God dislikes for you three things: idle talk, excessive asking, and wasting wealth.'
