حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ وَمُجَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ كَاتَبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ مُعَاوِيَةُ
أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدَ انْصِرَافِهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِما أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ»

✧ [He asked him] to write to him something he had heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ when he finished the prayer. He said, 'There is no god but God alone, with no partner. To Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs praise, and He has power over all things. O God, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of fortune can benefit from his fortune against You.'
