حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ثنا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَمُجَالِدٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ لِحَاجَتِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ رُومِيَّةٌ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَبِسْتُهُمَا وَأَنَا عَلَى طُهْرٍ أَوْ عَلَى طَهُورٍ»

✧ I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he went to relieve himself while wearing a Roman jubba. Then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks, and he said, "I put them on while I was in a state of purity—or while I had performed ablution."
