حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَمْسَحُ عَلَى خُفَّيْكَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ إِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا وَهُمَا طَاهِرَتَانِ»

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution and wipe over his leather socks. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you wipe over your leather socks?" He said, "Yes, for I put them on while they were pure."
