حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيُّ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ
حَدَّثَنِي مَطَرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي آمِنَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ وَقُطْبَةُ مَوْلَاتُهَا أَنَّهُمَا رَأَيَا مَدْلُوكًا أَبَا سُفْيَانَ فَسَمِعَاهُ يَقُولُ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَعَ مَوَالِيَ فَأَسْلَمْتُ قَالَتْ آمِنَةُ «فَرَأَيْتُ مَا مَسَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ أَسْوَدَ وَقَدِ ابْيَضَّ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ Matar b. al-'Ala' narrated to me: my aunt Amina bt. Abi al-Sha'tha' and Qutba, her freedwoman, narrated to me that they saw Madluk, Abu Sufyan, and heard him say: I came to the Prophet ﷺ with my freedmen and embraced Islam. Amina said, "I saw that the part of the Prophet's ﷺ head that he wiped was black, while the rest of his hair had turned white."
