حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْمِصِّيصِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ عَنِ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ وَقَّاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ
أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَكَلَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ كُسِيَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ ثَوْبًا كَسَاهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ قَامَ بِمُسْلِمٍ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ أَقَامَهُ اللهُ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ»

✧ He narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever consumes a meal at the expense of a Muslim man in this world, Allah will feed him the like of it in Jahannam; and whoever is clothed with a garment at the expense of a Muslim man, Allah will clothe him with the like of it from Jahannam; and whoever takes a stand on behalf of a Muslim for show, Allah will make him stand in a position of notoriety and show."
