حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ السَّمَيْدَعِ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصُّورِيُّ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّكَ مَا أَطْعَمْتَ زَوْجَتَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ وَلَدَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ خَادِمَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ نَفْسَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ»

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whatever you feed your wife is charity for you, whatever you feed your child is charity for you, whatever you feed your servant is charity for you, and whatever you feed yourself is charity for you."
