حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوَقَّرِيُّ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ طَعَامًا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ عَمِلِ يَدَيْهِ» قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ «وَكَانَ دَاوُدُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ عَمِلِ يَدَيْهِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "No one of the children of Adam has eaten food that is better for him than that which he eats from the work of his own two hands." The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: "And Dawud ﷺ used to eat from the work of his own two hands."
