حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّالَانِيُّ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَمَاتَ عَنْهَا وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَا وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا فَقَالَ «لَهَا الصَّدَاقُ كَامِلًا وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ» فَقَالَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «قَضَى بِهِ فِي بَرْوَعَ بِنْتِ وَاشِقٍ»

✧ From 'Abdullah concerning a man who married a woman and then died leaving her, and he had not consummated the marriage and had not assigned her a dower. He said, "She is entitled to the full dower, upon her is the waiting period, and she has the inheritance." Ma'qil b. Sinan said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rule with that in the case of Barwa' bint Washiq."
