حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
«لَهَا صَدَاقُ نِسَائِهَا لَا وَكْسَ وَلَا شَطَطَ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ» فَقَامَ أَبُو سِنَانٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ فَشَهِدُوا «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَضَى بِذَلِكَ فِي بَرْوَعَ بِنْتِ وَاشِقٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ»

✧ "She is entitled to a dower like that of her peers, without reduction or excess, and upon her is the waiting period, and she has the inheritance." Abu Sinan al-Ashja'i stood up among a group from Ashja' and testified, "Indeed the Prophet ﷺ ruled that in the case of Barwa' bint Washiq al-Ashja'iyyah."
