حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ ثنا أَبِي ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْكِنْدِيِّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ الْبَصْرَةَ فَنَزَلَتُ دَارَ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ فَحَدَّثَتْنِي ابْنَتُهُ هِنْدٌ قَالَتْ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ أَبِي بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ زِيَادَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَجَاءَ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ يَنْفَعُنَا بِحَدِيثِكَ

فَحَدِّثْنَا شَيْئًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ وَالٍ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَى أُمَّةٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَلَّتْ أَوْ كَثُرَتْ فَلَمْ يَعْدِلْ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا أَكَبَّهُ اللهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فِي النَّارِ»

✧ He said: Narrate to us something you heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “There is no governor appointed over any community of my nation, whether small or large, who does not act justly among them except that God will cast him on his face into the Fire.”
