حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وُهَيْبٍ الْغَزِّيِّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ثنا رِشْدِينُ عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَايِدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى قَوْمٍ عَلَى دَوَابَّ لَهُمْ وَرَوَاحِلَ وَهُمْ وُقُوفٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «ارْكَبُوهَا سَالِمَةً وانْزِلُوا عَنْهَا سَالِمَةً وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا كَرَاسِيَّ لِأَحَادِيثِكُمْ ومَجَالِسِكُمْ فَلَرُبَّ مَرْكُوبَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ رَاكِبِهَا وَأَكْثَرُ ذِكْرًا لِلَّهِ مِنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by a group of people who were standing on their mounts and riding beasts. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Mount them sound, dismount from them sound, and do not make them chairs for your conversations and gatherings. For perhaps a mounted beast is better than its rider and more remembering of God than him."
