حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ وَالِدَيْهِمُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ» قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَا اثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ «وَاثْنَيْنِ» قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ وَاحِدًا؟ قَالَ «وَوَاحِدًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا احْتَسَبَتْهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, "There are no two Muslim spouses who lose three children but that God will admit their parents to Paradise through the abundance of His mercy." I said, "What do you think if they are two?" He said, "And two." I said, "What do you think if it is one?" He said, "And one." Then he said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, the miscarried fetus will drag its mother by its umbilical cord to Paradise when she seeks reward for it."
