حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
اسْتَبَّ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَغَضِبَ أَحَدُهُمَا غَضَبًا شَدِيدًا فَقَالَ انتسْتَبَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَأَذْهَبَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مَا يَجِدُ» فَقِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَا هِيَ؟ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ»

✧ Two men exchanged insults in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and one of them became severely angry. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'I know a word that, if he said it, God would remove from him what he feels.' It was said to the Prophet ﷺ, 'What is it?' He said, 'O God, I seek refuge in You from Satan the accursed.'
