حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ يُخَامِرَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely from himself, then dies or is killed, has the reward of a martyr. Whoever is wounded or suffers an injury in the way of Allah, on the Day of Resurrection it will come with the color of saffron and the fragrance of musk. Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah bears the seal of the martyrs.”
