حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ يُخَامِرَ السَّكْسَكِيُّ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَإِنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ»

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever fights in the way of Allah, a Muslim man, for the interval between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely from himself, then dies or is killed, has the reward of a martyr. If he is wounded or suffers an injury in the way of Allah, on the Day of Resurrection it will come with the color of saffron and the fragrance of musk. Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah bears the seal of the martyrs.”
