حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصُّورِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَا ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُرِيتُ أَنِّي وُضِعْتُ فِي كِفَّةٍ وَأُمَّتِي فِي كِفَّةٍ فَعَدَلْتُها ثُمَّ وُضِعَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي كِفَّةٍ وَأُمَّتِي فِي كِفَّةٍ فَعَدَلَهَا وَوُضِعَ عُمَرُ فِي كِفَّةٍ وَأُمَّتِي فِي كِفَّةٍ فَعَدَلَهَا وَوُضِعَ عُثْمَانُ فِي كِفَّةٍ فَعَدَلَهَا ثُمَّ رُفِعَ الْمِيزَانُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "I was shown that I was placed in a scale and my community in the other, and I balanced it. Then Abu Bakr was placed in a scale and my community in the other, and he balanced it. Then Umar was placed in a scale and my community in the other, and he balanced it. Then Uthman was placed in a scale, and he balanced it. Then the scale was raised."
