✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: On the Day of Resurrection, the one deprived of intellect, the one who perished in the interval between prophets, and the one who perished as a child will be brought. The one deprived of intellect will say: "O Lord, if You had given me intellect, no one to whom You gave intellect would have been more fortunate with his intellect than me." The one who perished as a child will say: "O Lord, if You had given me a lifespan, no one to whom You gave a lifespan would have been more fortunate with his lifespan than me." The one who perished in the interval will say: "O Lord, if a messenger from You had come to me, no human to whom a covenant from You came would have been more fortunate with Your covenant than me." Then the Lord, Exalted is He, will say: "I command you with a command; will you obey Me?" They will say: "Yes, by Your might, O Lord." He will say: "Go and enter Hellfire." If they were to enter it, it would not have harmed them at all. Then tongues of fire will emerge upon them, and they will think that it has destroyed everything God created. Then He will command them a second time, and they will return as before. Then the Lord, may He be glorified, will say: "I created you with My knowledge, and to My knowledge you will return." Then the Fire will take them.
