حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِذَ اللهِ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيَّ يَقُولُ قُلْتُ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ فِي اللهِ فَأَخَذَ بِحِقْوَيَّ واجْتَذَبَنِي إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ
وَاللهِ إِنَّكَ تُحِبُّنِي؟ قُلْتُ وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ فِي اللهِ قَالَ أَبْشِرْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْمُتَحَابُّونَ فِي ظِلِّ عَرْشِهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ»

✧ "And by Allah, do you love me?" I said. "By Allah, indeed I love you for the sake of Allah," he said. He replied, "Rejoice, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Those who love one another for the sake of Allah will be shaded by His throne on the day when there will be no shade except His shade.'"
