حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نَسِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ
مَرَّ بِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا أَسْلُخُ شَاةً فَقَالَ لِي «يَا مُعَاذُ هَاتِ أَوْ أَرِنِي » فَدَسَعَهَا دَسْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ اللَّحْمِ وَالْجِلْدِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا مُعَاذُ هَكَذَا» ثُمَّ مَضَى إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was skinning a sheep, and he said to me, “O Mu'adh, bring it here or show me,” then he pushed it twice between the flesh and the skin, then said, “O Mu'adh, like this,” then he went on to the prayer.
