حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَدْلَجَ بِالنَّاسِ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكٍ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا أَسْأَلُكُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ «بَخٍ بَخٍ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْ عَظِيمٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسِيرٌ عَلَى مَنْ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهِ الْخَيْرَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخَرِ وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَتَعْبُدُ اللهَ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ حَتَّى تَمُوتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ traveled with the people at night during the expedition of Tabuk. When morning came, he prayed the Morning Prayer with the people. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a deed that will admit me to Paradise, and I will not ask you about anything else." He said, "Excellent, excellent! You have asked about something great, yet it is easy for the one for whom Allah wills good." Then he said, "You believe in Allah and the Last Day, you establish prayer, and you worship Allah alone with no partner until you die upon that."
