حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَدْلَجَ بِالنَّاسِ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكٍ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا أَسْأَلُكُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ «بَخٍ بَخٍ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْ عَظِيمٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسِيرٌ عَلَى مَنْ أَرَادَ اللهُ بِهِ الْخَيْرَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخَرِ وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَتَعْبُدُ اللهَ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ حَتَّى تَمُوتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the people in the Battle of Tabuk. When he woke up, he prayed the morning prayer with the people. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about an action that will admit me into Paradise and I will not ask you about anything else." He said, "You have asked about something great, but it is easy for the one for whom Allah intends good." Then he said, "Believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, worship Allah alone without associating any partners with Him, and remain upon that until you die."
