حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ
تُوُفِّيَ مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ نَوْفَلٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا الْمِسْوَرِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَسِنُّهُ سَبْعُونَ سَنَةً وَقَدْ قِيلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ

✧ Makhramah b. Nawfal, whose kunyah was Abu al-Miswar, died in the year 54, at the age of seventy. It has also been said that he was one hundred and fifteen years old. He accepted Islam on the day of the conquest and was among those whose hearts were reconciled.
