حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَتَسَاءَلُ أَمْوَالَنَا بَيْنَنَا فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ يَسْأَلُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْفِتَنِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِهِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَرَبَ أَمْسَكَ»

✧ I said: O Messenger of Allah, we ask one another for our wealth among ourselves. He said: "Yes, a man may ask in times of strife between him and his people, but when it reaches the point of pressing need or near destitution, he should refrain."
