حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ بَلَغَ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يُحَدِّثُ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ يَكُونُ مَلِكٌ مِنْ قَحْطَانَ فَغَضِبَ

وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ لَا يُعَادِيهِمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا كُبَّ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مَا أَقَامُوا الدِّينَ»

✧ He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: �This matter will remain with Quraysh. No one opposes them except that he is thrown on his face, as long as they uphold the religion.�
