حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ الْبَخْتَرِيُّ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فِي قُرَيْشٍ لَا يُعَادِيهِمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا أَكَبَّهُ اللهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مَا أَقَامُوا الدِّينَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: �This matter rests with Quraysh. No one opposes them except that Allah throws him on his face, as long as they uphold the religion.�
