حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ §أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ عِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ

أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ» فَقَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ» قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ» قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ «اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ» فَقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّكُمْ ﷺ يَقُولُ

✧ That Muhammad is the Messenger of God. He said, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God." He said, "Come to prayer." He said, "There is no might and no power except with God." He said, "Come to success." He said, "There is no might and no power except with God." He said, "God is greatest, God is greatest." Mu'awiyah said, "God is greatest, God is greatest." He said, "There is no god but God." He said, "There is no god but God." Then he said, "This is how I heard your Prophet ﷺ say."
