حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَجَعَلَ يَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سُوءَ هَيْئَتِهِ قَالَ «هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ كُلُّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِي اللهُ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَالْغَنَمِ وَالْخَيْلِ قَالَ «إِذَا آتَاكَ اللهُ مَالًا فَلْيُرَ عَلَيْكَ»

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ and began asking the Prophet ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ saw his poor appearance, he said, "Do you have any wealth?" He said, "Yes, every kind of wealth. Allah has granted me camels, sheep, and horses." He said, "When Allah grants you wealth, let it be seen on you."
