حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ صَلَاحٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيِيَ ثُمَّ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيِيَ لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ دَيْنُهُ وَلَيْسَ ثَمَّةَ ذَهَبٌ وَلَا فِضَّةٌ إِنَّمَا هِيَ الْحَسَنَاتُ وَالسَّيِّئَاتُ»

✧ That he heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say, "If a man were killed in the path of God, then brought back to life, then killed in the path of God, then brought back to life, he would not enter Paradise until his debt is settled, and there is neither gold nor silver there; it is only good deeds and bad deeds."
