حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَوْنٍ الزِّيَادِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أبِيهِ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ شِعْبِ الْمَطَابِخِ حَتَّى أَتَى بِئْرَ الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ فِي إِزَارٍ مُلْتَحِفٌ بِهِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الظُّهْرِ أَوِ الْعَصْرِ وَخَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ»

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ come out from the mountain pass of al-Matabikh until he came to the well of prayer, wearing a waist-wrapper wrapped around him, and he prayed two rakʿahs of Zuhr or ʿAsr, crossing its two ends.
