حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّهِ ثنا مُسْتَلِمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرًّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أُوكِيَ عَلَى ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ وَلَمْ يُنْفِقْهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ جَمْرًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُكْوَى بِهِ»
Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever hoards gold or silver and does not spend it in the way of Allah, it will be a brand on the Day of Resurrection with which he will be cauterized."
