حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ

مَرَّ بِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَطْبُخُ قِدْرًا وَالْقَمْلُ يَتَهَافَتُ عَلَى وَجْهِي فَقَالَ «أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَاحْلِقْ ثُمَّ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوِ اذْبَحْ شَاةً أَوْ أَطْعِمْ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينٍ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was at al-Hudaybiyyah cooking a pot, and lice were falling thickly onto my face. He said, "Do the vermin of your head trouble you?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Then shave, then fast three days, or slaughter a sheep, or feed a faraq to six needy people."
