✧ News reached al-Harith, a man of Quraysh who was in Syria, that Abu Dharr was in need, so he sent him three hundred dinars. He said: "He has not found a servant of Allah who is more insignificant to Him than me. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever begs while he has forty is importunate.'" And the family of Abu Dharr had forty dirhams and forty sheep and two servants. Abu Bakr b. Ayyash said: meaning two servants.
