حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا عُمَرُ ثنا أبي ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَسَمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِذَا مَاتَ طَائِرٌ تَعْلُقُ فِي شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَهُ اللهُ إِلَى جَسَدِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The soul of the believer, when he dies, is a bird that hangs in the trees of Paradise until Allah returns it to his body on the Day of Resurrection.'
