حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ «§اسْمُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ جُنْدُبُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ

وَيُقَالُ اسْمُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بَرِيرٌ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī
  2. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr
  3. Āsm Abū Dhar Jundub b. Junādah

✧ It is said the name of Abu Dharr is Burayr."
