✧ Qais b. Fahd al-Ansari, the grandfather of Yahya b. Sa'id, and his father's name is disputed, and it is said that it is Qais b. Amr, and it is said that it is Qais b. Sahl.

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ البَغَوِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَوْفٍ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ عَنْ حَيَّانَ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ قَطَنِ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ مُخَارِقٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعِيَافَةُ وَالطِّيَرَةُ وَالطَّرْقُ مِنَ الْجِبْتِ»
