حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَوَضَعْنَا لَهُ مَاءً ثُمَّ اغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَاهُ بِمِلْحَفَةٍ وَرْسِيَّةٍ فَالْتَحَفَ بِهَا فَكَأَنِّي انْظُرُ إِلَى أَثَرِ الوَرْسِ عَلَى عُكَنِهِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to us, and we placed water for him. Then he bathed, and we brought him a wars-dyed wrap, and he covered himself with it. It is as if I can still see the trace of the wars on his folds.
