حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جَرِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَ الْحَجَّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ الْبَعِيرَ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ؟ قَالَ «حُجِّي عَنْهُ»

✧ A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "My father has reached the time of Hajj, but he is a very old man who cannot ride a camel. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf?" He said: "Perform Hajj on his behalf."
