✧ That the Prophet ﷺ on the evening of ʿArafah would say takbīr, tahlīl, and supplicate. When the people departed, he said: "Upon you is tranquility." When he reached the mountain pass, he turned aside to it, wanting water, then performed ablution, and the people mounted. When he arrived at Muzdalifah, he combined Maghrib and ʿIshāʾ. When he prayed the morning prayer, he stood. When he departed, the people departed. He said, while he was restraining his mount: "Upon you is tranquility," until when he came to Minā, he said: "Upon you are the pebbles of khadhf, with which the jamarāt are thrown." And he did not cease reciting the talbiyah until he threw the Jamrat al-ʿAqabah.
