حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَكِيعِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «خَيْرُ أُمَّتِي الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي بُعِثْتُ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنْشَأُ أَقْوَامٌ يَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَحْلَفُونَ وَيَخُونُونَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ وَيَفْشُو فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ»

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: 'The best of my Ummah is the generation in which I was sent, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will arise people who testify but are not asked to testify, who swear oaths but are not asked to swear, who betray trust and are not entrusted, and obesity will spread among them.'
