حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الشِّيرَازِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ ثنا هِشَامُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «خَيْرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الْقَرْنُ الَّذِي بُعِثْتُ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنْشَأُ أَقْوَامٌ يَنْذُرُونَ وَلَا يُوفُونَ وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَحْلَفُونَ وَيَفْشُو فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, “The best of this ummah is the generation in which I was sent, then those who follow them, then there will arise peoples who make vows but do not fulfill them, swear oaths without being asked to swear, and obesity will spread among them.”
