حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُعَذِّبُ الْمَيِّتَ بِنِيَاحِ أَهْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَمُوتُ بِخُرَاسَانَ وَيُصَاحُ عَلَيْهِ هَهُنَا يُعَذَّبُ؟ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَذَّبْتَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed Allah ﷻ punishes the deceased because of the wailing of his family over him.' A man said, 'He dies in Khurasan and wailing is made over him here, and he is punished?' Imran said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke the truth and you have lied.'
